Last Chance Saloon

So, this is it. I'll be closing my Etsy shop tomorrow*. My website shop, however, will remain open a little longer.

* Why? Well, firstly, because I'm moving to Berlin... Secondly, I have had SO many problems with the postal services and some rude customers recently, which has made me very stressed - and I don't really need that right now... Thank you to all of my lovely customers over the last couple of years (and the majority of you HAVE been wonderful). I appreciate your custom!

When will you open new shops? You shouldn't let a few rude customers and the postal service get in your way. And don't listen to any criticism. Just carry on with your art. Keep selling those amazing artwork that make us smile :)

Good luck with the move, sorry to hear your shop is closing, I have been delighted with my 2 purchases, and I only 'discovered' it recently so I hope you'll still have some online 'shop' of some kind somewhere, I am sure I will want to buy more! And I agree don't focus too much on negative comments, you have so many fans and delighted customers, focus on them instead! :-)

Good Luck with Berlin!
My only handy hint for Berlin is to make sure you visit the zoo first thing in the morning as they have a petting zoo with goat kittens who are eager beavers when it comes to being fed at that time, you will receive much affection, albeit cupboard love!

Thanks folks!

Well, my website shop will be open a little longer (but it will be closed for at least a month while I move / get settled in Berlin). I also need more time to spend on my artwork and making new things because at the moment there are days when I barely do anything except package etsy orders.

I will make sure to visit the zoo early so that I can feed the little goats :)

Ahh that makes sense about you spending all day packaging Etsy orders! You should get an assistant to do those! I look forward to seeing your new artwork.

…oh, nice to know. We can probably meet in Berlin if you want. And I could buy pocket mirrors directly;)
Good luck so far!

This is sad Gemma, I have opened my shop in December and yeah, it is a bit stressing but also great.

Hope your own shop will remain open.

take care

Sad to hear that you're shutting the shop- bought some really great gifts for people (ok, mainly gifts for myself...) over the years. All the best for Berlin!

Best wishes to you in Berlin. How exciting! I am another very satisfied customer. I received an Ampersand print as a wedding gift and it's always brought me joy.

Oi, I am so sorry to hear that you are closing your etsy shop!!! I discovered your lovely lovely cards this valentines day and since then I am reading your blog and became a big fan of your work! Enjoy Berlin, it is such a great place to live now. Me and my boyfriend are thinking of moving there too:)
