Hourly Comic Day

I'm attempting to do Hourly Comic Day today, although I'm mostly just sitting at my desk, so not sure how interesting the rest of the day is going to be. Oh well. Follow along on Twitter, if you like. I'll upload all of them to Flickr, too.Update - they're all on Flickr and on my Diaries blog.

go APE

I'm going to be at APE Expo on October 12-13th, tabling and eating ALL the San Francisco Mexican food (mmm) with my good friend Tuesday Bassen. I'm pretty darn excited (SF is my favourite!) - Hope to see you there, Bay Area-ians.
I'll have my new comic RUNNING (and other humiliations), plus part one of my WEDDING DIARY.

Filofaxin'

The lovely folk at Filofax kindly sent me one of their new Flex notebooks, so I had a go at doodling a "Day in the Life" ... as you can see, my day often consists mainly of thinking and/or drinking coffee. Sometimes it takes hours for me to come up with the idea that I've been searching for and I'll end up drawing into the night. My favourite inspirations are reading the newspaper, going for a walk and browsing t'internet.

I had lots of fun drawing in the lovely smooth pages of my new Flex notebook (which features lots of handy pockets, always a plus).
